New story - Dungeon Photographer

Come promesso, ho appena pubblicato una nuova storia: Dungeon Photographer.

Premessa: 

"In un mondo urban fantasy, con creature magiche che vivono una quotidianità non differente dalla nostra, Bailey, ragazza Halfling di trent'anni, è insoddisfatta del proprio tenore di vita attuale e vorrebbe poter incentrare la sua vita sulla sua passione di esplorazione dei Dungeon, un tempo luoghi mistici e pericolosi, oggi considerati ambienti curiosi e oggetto di interesse per blogger e creator. Casualmente, visitato un sito in cui si cercano persone per gruppi di esplorazione, si imbatte in un annuncio diverso dagli altri: qualcuno cerca un'assistente fotografo. Incuriosita, Bailey accetta l'offerta ed è così che conosce Zirko, un troll che per lavoro fa il fotografo naturalista di animali fantastici. 

A seguito di questo incontro, Bailey comincerà a conoscere un mestiere fino a quel momento sconosciuto e va oltre il semplice scattare una foto ad un'animale."

Come già annunciato, la lavorazione e pubblicazione di questa storia sarà molto più lenta rispetto agli altri miei lavori perchè punto molto sulle parti descrittive degli scenari, prendendo spunti da luoghi reali... stessa cosa dicasi per gli animali fantastici presenti nel racconto, che cerco di adattare per il tema della fotografia naturalistica. Il tema stesso delle foto è argomento che sto studiando proprio mentre scrivo, poichè di mezzo ci sono elementi che riguardano l'attrezzatura, per esempio. Questa storia rappresenta una bella sfida sotto molti punti di vista, ma spero che il risultato finale sia di vostro gradimento.

As promised, I just posted a new story: Dungeon Photographer.

Introduction:

"In an urban fantasy world, with magical creatures that live a daily life not different from ours, Bailey, a thirty-year-old Halfling girl, is dissatisfied with her current standard of living and would like to be able to focus her life on her passion for exploring Dungeons, once mystical and dangerous places, now considered curious environments and objects of interest for bloggers and creators. By chance, visiting a site where people are sought for exploration groups, she comes across an ad that is different from the others: someone is looking for a photographer's assistant. Intrigued, Bailey accepts the offer and that's how she meets Zirko, a troll who works as a naturalist photographer of fantastic animals.

Following this meeting, Bailey will learn about a job unknown to her until then and goes beyond simply taking a photo of an animal."

As already announced, the processing and publication of this story will be much slower than my other works because I focus a lot on the descriptive parts of the scenarios, taking inspiration from real places... the same thing goes for the fantastic animals present in the story, which I try to adapt for the theme of nature photography. The theme of the photos itself is a topic that I am studying right as I write, since there are elements that concern the equipment, for example. This story represents a nice challenge from many points of view, but I hope that the final result is to your liking.
